Remembering Ed Asner

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Ed Asner, an extraordinary and beloved actor, and longtime supporter of Beyond Nuclear. Asner served as our Honorary Chairman, and our inspiration. He died today, August 29, at age 91. Asner delighted in portraying gruff good humor, on screen and off. He embraced and led progressive causes and was firmly in the anti-nuclear camp. In 2009, he agreed to "star" in our PSA, as shown. We will miss him deeply.
