By researching the often buried archives to uncover the truth? Or by bringing humanitarian aid to the children of Belarus? Join us for Living with Chernobyl: Personal stories from the world's worst nuclear disaster, a free online event on April 25, 12 noon-1pm EDT. 

We will explore each of those paths, with our stellar lineup of guests. Actor Maxine Peake will read from Svetlana Alexievich’s Nobel Prize-winning book Chernobyl Voices/Chernobyl Prayer and we will talk to novelist Darragh McKeon, historian Kate Brown, and activist Linda Walker, followed by an audience Q&A.
