Webinar: Japan set to dump radioactive soil and water into environment

Despite opposition from many fishermen and citizens, the Japanese government may soon decide to dump 2 million cubic meters of radiation-contaminated water stored at the Fukushima nuclear site into the sea. At least 14 million cubic meters of radioactively contaminate soil could be spread across farmland and used for public works.

FoE Japan is holding an international webinar on these threats to human and marine health and safety, on Saturday, October 17, 9pm-11pm Eastern US time.
