Incredibly, the U.S. NRC ASLB's rejection of scores of contentions, including Beyond Nuclear's, as well as all but one of Sierra Club's, all of the Don't Waste Michigan et al. national grassroots environmental coalition's, and all of Fasken Oil's, was not good enough for ISP. It has filed an appeal to the NRC Commissioners, seeking to have even the single contention the ASLB admitted in the entire licensing proceeding -- a Sierra Club contention re: two endangered lizard species -- thrown out.
