Germany's Non-Violent Action for Abolition of Nuclear Weapons, as well as Nukewatch of Wisconsin, are calling for supporters in the U.S. and other countries to print up hard copies of solidarity statements, fill them out, sign them, and mail them in to the groups. They are protesting the development of a modified B61 nuclear bomb, designated Mod-12, which would have new military capabilities. A coalition of 50 groups, including International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, have also launched the "Büchel is everywhere - nuclear-free now!" campaign (see the website here). The coalition has announced a series of non-violent direct actions in 2017 at the German Air Force Base, Büchel, where around 20 U.S. nuclear weapons remain, decades after the end of the Cold War, not to mention U.S. and German ratification of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
