Alice Slater of Abolition 2000 made this presentation at the recent Left Forum in New York City which took place March 16-18 at PACE Universiry. Slater is New York Director of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation and its UN representative. She is a founder of Abolition 2000, a global network for the elimination of nuclear weapons and a member of the Board of the Lawyers Committee for Nuclear Policy. She serves on the Advisory Boards of the Global Network Against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space and the Rideau Institute.
